You call that tough

The Free Press believes the EMU Board of Regents sent a tough message about the need for change this past week when it fired John Fallon and forced two others to resign for violating federal laws and endangering students. Seems like the “tough” part of the message got lost in the half million dollars of severances and full retirement benefits that the administrators will receive.

Maybe you were referring to another tough message the regents sent this week - the one telling students their tuition was being hiked by 9.5%.
