Give students a chance
In response to Newt Gingrich’s recent comments, city leaders claim the new DPS superintendent needs to be given a chance to overhaul the troubled schools - just like every other superintendent who failed for the past 40 years. How about we give the children of Detroit a chance by expanding school choice?

My favorite part of the DPS criticism of Newt is when they told him that we can't afford to experiment with education in Detroit.
But with a 22% graduation rate can we afford not to?
