Rochelle Riley responds

Columnist Rochelle Riley responded to my letter to the editor regarding her column on voter ID and Proposal 2:

"Affirmative action policies don’t discriminate; quota policies do. Do your homework, and I’m glad I woke some people up. Rochelle"

A platitude and an insult. I'm finding this to be standard fare from columnists. Although she'll probably never end up at this site, my response is:

I have done my homework and I have done plenty of it in subjects such as philosophy and history rather than middle school social studies. More telling, I have the satisfaction of knowing that no one will ever wonder if I am an affirmative action hire.
