What a deal
Background: Apparently only some people are concerned about how taxes in Michigan are hurting our economy.
The voters have spoken and apparently taxes are not a concern to the citizens of this economically-challenged state as evidenced by the passage of the zoo tax. But instead of lamenting the additional burden, I looked for the silver-lining in this cloud. Supporters of the tax report that it will cost the owner of a $200,000 home about $10. Had this tax existed 4 years ago, I would be $10 poorer. However since my home’s value has dropped, I’m only out about $7.
