My favorite sleazy politician

Background: New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer took only 48 hours to resign over his call girl scandal. If only Detroit could be so lucky.

Well New York Governor Eliot Spitzer’s scandal was a refreshing change of pace. Within 48 hours, he apologized and resigned. He didn’t play the victim. He didn’t blame the media. He didn’t carry on about any missions from God. He meekly went away.

Of all the sleazy politicians, Spitzer is my favorite.
