Try a new plan

Background: Governor Granholm hired a chief operating officer to help sell her economic plan to the business community. Granholm's plan focuses on higher taxes and wasteful spending. No wonder she needs to hire someone to try and twist the arms of the state's business executives.

Instead of hiring some high profile chief operating officer to push her economic plan to the business community, Governor Granholm could have easily saved taxpayers the $136,000 salary. Develop an economic plan that focuses on lower taxes and the plan would sell itself. It doesn’t take a costly executive to understand that she cannot tax our way to prosperity.
