Ridiculing the Constitution

Background: Following the Republican candidate debates in Dearborn, a couple letters made fun of Rep. Ron Paul. One called him "hysterical" while another claimed Paul "waited patiently for the mothership to take him back to his planet."

A couple of recent letters disparaging presidential candidate Rep. Ron Paul’s debate appearance provide a sad commentary on how presidents are chosen in this country. The front runners spend millions crafting their speeches using focus groups and surveys to spin their message into nothing more than a crass attempt to gain votes by selling out to special interest groups. Meanwhile Paul, using the U.S. Constitution as his script, promotes this country’s founding principles of limited government and personal freedom. For holding these self-evident truths, he is ridiculed. Sad, very sad.

I've voting for Ron Paul for president and appreciate your common sense letter on his behalf.
