Michigan Ballot Proposal Guide
Proposal 1 - Conservation Fund. NO. This doesn't belong in the Constitution. It does not address a current problem.
Proposal 2 - MCRI. YES. YES. YES. Using discrimination to fight discrimination is WRONG. To read more on it, just read about every other post on this blog for the past year.
Proposal 3 - Doves. YES. I don't see mourning doves any differently than any other animal or bird that we hunt. Not an issue that belongs on a ballot, but it's here and needs a vote.
Proposal 4 - Eminent Domain. YES. Government should not be allowed to take private property for private business. In addition, it should never be easy for government to take your property even for public uses. More on it here.
Proposal 5 - K-16 Mandatory Funding Levels. NO. Our public schools need reform, not more money thrown at it. This proposal will seriously harm the economy by blowing a hole in the budget. Read the next post for more.

Thank you for your very assertive reply on my blog. Also, your big bold capital letters of Yes & No should help me out.
But don't you think Dick Devos should be able to take private property for an Amway warehouse if it'll create jobs? I sure hope he wins. It'll reduce welfare too. Vote "no" on Proposal 4.
