Divine Secrets of the No-No Aldo Club

Aldo Vagnozzi believes a secret cabal of letter writers holds clandestine meetings to plot attacks against him. Kind of reminds me of Ross Perot’s zany conspiracy about the Bush campaign seeking to disrupt his daughter’s wedding during the 1992 presidential campaign.

Personally, I am a member of a local group of letter writers that has received recent press coverage because of our meetings with Jennifer Granholm, Dick DeVos, Debbie Stabenow, and Michael Bouchard among others. Vagnozzi was once a scheduled guest but never showed up. That was a shame since several of the group’s members are his constituents.

However, I am the only member of that group that regularly writes letters criticizing Vagnozzi for his position on policies such as education reform and taxes. I do not agree with his votes on a number of issues and apparently several other people disagree too. Fortunately, the Observer gives us the opportunity to express our opinions and challenge our elected representative. I consider this exercising my right to free speech. Vagnozzi labels it “negative campaigning.”

If Vagnozzi wins re-election and he knows how to get in touch with this “negative campaign writers club”, please let me know. I’d like to join.

Aldo,

Is he going to be re-elected again. I lived in Farmington Hills a few years ago and remember him going door to door in 2002. Lousy democrats! And people wonder why I joined the exodus of workers leaving the state yet still have my house in the state on the market after almost a year.
