Counter-establishment
Recently, Brian Dickerson commented that the Michigan Establishment, a normally “fractious group” is speaking with “remarkable unanimity” in opposing the MCRI. If this means anything, it should be a sign to voters that they should support the MCRI.
The “establishment” consists of unions who have helped run Ford and GM into the ground and who are intent on putting the final nail into the Detroit Public Schools’ coffin. It consists of corporate executives who struggle to keep their companies from sinking into bankruptcy. It consists of organizations who separate themselves from society by their race, ethnicity, religion, and sexual preference. It consists of state politicians whose leadership put Michigan at the bottom of the heap.
With such a horrendous track record, why would anyone listen to the “establishment” when they speak with unanimity?
