There oughtta be a law. . .against ignorance
The Free Press is in search of a solution to a non-existent problem. By your reasoning, since a small number of the half million voters who signed the MCRI failed to read the clearly printed words at the top of the petition we need to protect these self-professed ignoramuses from themselves. Your assertion the petition’s wording misled signers completely dismisses the Michigan Court of Appeals’ finding that “there is simply no merit to [BAMN’s] contention that the language is ‘propaganda’ or misleading.
In spite of countless frivolous lawsuits, the MCRI has prevailed. One rogue judge’s personal rants cannot undo the scrutiny this petition has successfully passed.
