That didn't take long

On May 11th, the Observer published a letter in which I criticized the Farmington school board for wasting upwards of $70,000 to hold their exclusive election. At the end of that letter I suggested whenever layoffs are announced, parents should ask the board members how long they intend to sacrifice teachers for their special elections.

A few days later my son told me his Honors English teacher received her layoff notice. So on behalf of my son I ask the board, “How long do you intend to sacrifice teachers?”
