Whitey trying to steal the zoo

Barbara-Rose Collins' statements about “white folks” and the zoo were offensive and indicative of why Detroit deserves its poor reputation. Since Collins believes privatization is tantamount to prostituting Detroiters, perhaps we can reach a mutually agreeable plan to save the zoo. The city could maintain control but seek sponsorships. In keeping with Collins' viewpoint, Oakland County could sponsor the polar bears. At the same time, the city council could sponsor the sloth exhibit.
