Only one thing to keep in mind this November
In her opinion column on the MCRI, Rebecca McNulty recommends when voting next November, people should keep in mind the “accusations that voters were misled.” Perhaps voters should be reminded that these unsubstantiated accusations come from BAMN, a group responsible for the “heated” portion of discussions that result in calls to the police. By their own admission, BAMN promotes the use of “any means necessary” to achieve their goals. Based on their actions, intimidation and lying appear to be acceptable means.
In November, voters need only keep one thing in mind. How will equality and a color-blind society ever be achieved while government entities and universities grant preferential treatment based on a person’s color?
